Hey! What’s Up?
Hello!
I’ve had this idea for quite some time, and with my current time off, I figured now is the perfect moment to do it. The goal of this website is to share anything and everything I create. I’ve always loved reading blog sections on other sites, and since I have my own, I thought — why not start my own blog?
I wanted my first post to be both an introduction and an update for my friends and family.
So, what have I been up to?
The past year or so has been busy. After graduating college, I felt (and still feel) burnt out from photography and videography. I tell myself it’s because I tried turning my hobby into a career and failed, and maybe that’s why the spark is gone. Honestly, I’m not even sure if that’s true. I still want to create, but every time I pick up my camera, it feels more like a chore than an outlet.
To scratch that creative itch, I’ve been exploring other things — graphic design and fiberglass repair have been my main outlets lately. They help, but I’m still chasing that same feeling I used to get with photography.
Karl trusted me enough to design and install a livery for his SXE10 a few days before the LZ World Tour.
Seat Time & Drifting
On the brighter side, I finally got some real seat time! Huge thanks to Geoff for letting me pilot his Red S15 and the JZX (S.S. Crash-Bandicoot) for a few laps at our hometown track, Raceway Park. Without Geoff and East Coast Drift School, I honestly don’t think I’d have been able to get this long-desired time behind the wheel.
It’s given me the push I needed to keep working on my own car (currently a very expensive paperweight). I won’t say much more until the engine turns over.
My drifting goals aren’t about chasing FD pro dreams — I just want to drive cars to the limit in the most exciting way possible. Style is important to me, too. I’d like to travel to tracks like Midpond, US Air, AVS, Summit Point, and Road Atlanta.
Yellow Fever is something new but is quickly showing to be a key part of my drifting journey. This group has become a real home for me and it’s refreshing to connect with like-minded people around my own age. I’ve been in drifting for over 10 years, but I’ve usually been the youngest by far in my friend group. Love them all — it’s just different when you can relate to people who aren’t 10 years older than you. LOL. ❤️
New Experiences
When I’m not buried in cars, I’ve been spending time at music festivals and local shows. Thanks to my childhood friend Bao, I’ve found a new way to enjoy life and break from the day-to-day. Through him, I’ve met amazing people and even traveled with them.
The highlight so far? EDC Las Vegas. I’d never been before, and going for the first time with new friends was unforgettable. I’ve been to other fests, but Vegas wasn’t even on my radar — now it’s a core memory. I do wish I’d gotten into this scene earlier, but I’m grateful for the experiences and looking forward to more.
Work & Projects
These days, things are a little more relaxed. I’m thankful to have started a new opportunity at Turn14. Outside of work, I’m focused on NE Aero — a fiberglass repair shop that started from casual Discord conversations between me, Karl, and Diego about paint and bodywork.
It still blows my mind that Karl and I learned a completely new skill from those chats. Diego — you’re an amazing teacher. Karl — you too.
The V is slowly coming together, but funds aren’t. Progress is slow, but steady. There are so many people who have helped with this build, and you know who you are — thank you.
What’s Next?
There are still a few plays in the works that I’m excited to share when the time is right.
If you’ve made it this far — thank you for reading my rambling thoughts. I’d like to keep making blog posts, but I’m not holding myself to a strict schedule. I want this to stay organic.
Until next time.
